Since The Patchwork Paper began in 2011 she has found her feet in the big city and has knitted a patchwork quilt of truly original poetry, prose and visual culture for everyone to get involved with. The magazine was built out of a desire to create an artistic platform that was free and uncensored, and became in essence an arts and activism ‘zine,  publishing free opinion, fiction and encouraging political and personal expression through art. Our aim is to provide a free platform for art and literature; so we have created this nugget of Art Activism.

No censorship, no prejudice, just your creative expression.

CRAFTY is our unique night of mystery and miscellany where everyone can get involved with crafty activities to the sound of spoken poetry, live music and bum shaking beats.

Please feel free to send us anything that you have written, drawn, spoken or taken, and join us in viewing the wonderful works of others online and at our events.

Love from,

The Patchwork Paper:

Thisbe Casellini, Sophie Fenella and Holly Strauss

With special thanks to Alice Moon and Ben Weinreich for their roles in the development of the concept and the first physical edition. Our ‘zine has blossomed with the help of a number of CRAFTY fundraisers and the all-important artistic contributions.
